Permanent Resident Applications
What about when your permanent resident application is in process? That depends.
- If you’re coming from countries where you need a visa to enter Canada, then it’s best not to leave Canada. If you have your new work permit, you could apply for a multiple entry visa from within Canada before you leave Canada
- If you’re coming from countries with visa exemption, then you’re free to come and go.
